Our commitment
Cornerstone Retirement Inc. is committed to making cornerstone-retirement.com (the "Site") accessible to people with disabilities, so that everyone has full and equal access to the information and services it offers. Accessibility is part of how we design, build and update every page.
Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content usable for people with a wide range of disabilities.
The Site is updated regularly, so some content may not yet meet every guideline. We treat accessibility as ongoing work and fix issues as we find them.
Measures we take
- Text and background colours are chosen for readable contrast.
- Pages use a logical heading structure, lists and landmarks, so screen-reader users can move around them quickly.
- Every image that carries meaning has a text alternative; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- The Site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, and a "skip navigation" link past the menus.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are explained in words, not colour alone.
- Pages reflow for small screens and for text zoomed up to 200%.
- Motion is kept to a minimum, and the Site respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
- We check pages with automated accessibility tools and keyboard-only navigation when they are built and when they change.
Known limitations
Some documents, such as PDFs, and content from other services, such as embedded videos or social media posts, may not be fully accessible. If you need any of it in another format, ask us and we will provide it.
Feedback
If something on the Site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know. It helps if you tell us:
- the page or part of the Site where you had the problem;
- what happened, and what you were trying to do;
- the browser and any assistive technology you were using;
- how we can reach you.
We aim to reply within two business days and to fix confirmed problems as quickly as we can.
